Lets start off by introduing my self.

My usual names around all forums is Babo.Im currently still young , I go to 2 school each day one aviation and other high school.My main hobbies are Programming mainly only on C++ , and developing Virtual World ( Beach Online ) , and MMOrpgs ( Vila Online ) which are still under development. I've been playing Silkroad for about 3 or more years. Never develop or did something for it , but played it. The only game I have developed and did something to it but not play was World of Warcraft. Been developing engines ( Emulators ) for private server here and there for about 1 1/2 years. Recently I asked myself if Silkroad is my favorite game , why am I developing for WoW and not Sro?

Well simple conclusion I started looking around a bit on the packets for around 3 weeks now.So now I have been working on my own Emulator for about 9 days exactly already.So thats why I have joined this forums and couple of others.

Whats the name of the Emulator ? Venice
What language is it written on ? Mainly in C++ only
Is it MYSQL - SQL supportable ? Yes of course
Will it be open source to public for free ? Yes it will be
Will there be a website for this emu ? In about a week there will be hopefully

*The engine it self is still under a very low stable condition.
*It still holds a bunch fixes and addition to it.
*Yes it is playable and it does support multiplayer around 80-140 users at the momment.
*Gm supports
*Skills support ( 1-70 ) only at the momment
*Quest Same levels as above
*Items save level as above
*Monster same level as above

*From level 70-90 will be supported in around 2-4 weeks as planned ( hopefully )
*Database are 100% Complete from level 1-70
*Database are 10.01% Complete from leevel 70-90

*Mainly I hold 5-7 team members that also plays silkroad from my WoW Emulation Team.
*So basically doing this is nothing new to us , since we been doing it for wow for about 1 1/2 years.

What your able to do as an admin at the momment:

1- Add whichever level cap you wish
2- Create new quest + add npc to the quest
3- Create new Items.
4- Have over 20 Gm Commands
5- Create new mobs ( which ever .bsr you wish , but with w/e name you want as well )
6- ect..


Release Date we have planned as Open Source:

1-With my team and i discussion maybe in 1-2 weeks this emu will be available for public.

Im aware of it , I had a lot of issues with Open Source emu for wow , and still having thoes issues.

One thing I for some reason havent been able to &@$% was that from lv 69 to 70 in leveling the mastery the packet seems to be different and causes a crash in the engine.

If anyone is able to accomplish this packets let me know.

One thing I for some reason havent been able to &@$% was that from lv 69 to 70 in leveling the mastery the packet seems to be different and causes a crash in the engine.

If anyone is able to accomplish this packets let me know.

Should be the same structure:

Thats what it seems , but the same structure crashes the system. It only happen during that level

oh i cant wait for a compiled release of this if you do release one soon :). You and your team are doing a really awsome job keep it up and we just might finish this emulator soon. ;)

Didn't he say this is open source?

I'd like to play around with a compiled copy even...if it works at all. ?

Yeah we will not be releasing any compiled version. Source is only thing that will be released.

This will be imported into a svn , and it wil be updated through svn.

After we are done making supporting level from 70-90 , we will release the source to public.

so can we actually enter the server and start leveling gaining exp/server as we please? and also are there mobs and npc's working?

P.S - PVP IS A MUST :P Loads of fun

Pvp is 100% supported for chinese and europeans.

All mobs are 100% working from lvl 70 down. 70+ not yet.
Exp gain are 100% working from lv 70 down. 70+ not yet.
You may create any server and enter it , plus create more than up to 6 and support all 6 of them .
All Npc's that are 70 down related are all 100%
Teleporters for each town and locations are 100% working
